Family Practitioners provide comprehensive medical care for entire families, including all ages and both genders. They examine patients, record information about patients’ medical histories, order and execute various tests, administer vaccinations and treatments, prescribe medications, report births, deaths and disease statistics to the government and work with the community on programs to enhance diet, activity, hygiene and disease prevention.
